Teachers are recruited in different categories, i.e. Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Primary Teachers (PRT), and Pre Primary Teachers (PPRT).

The PGTs are teachers who teach the Senior Secondary classes and are subject experts. The qualifications are Masters in a school teaching subject with a degree in Education. Experience is desirable.

TGTs are teachers who teach up to the Secondary Level. Graduation with a degree in Education is required. For teachers who are teaching up to class VIII, the HRD Ministry has made the compulsion of D.El.Ed from 2017. With the same qualifications, teachers who teach up to class V are designated as PRT.

The PPRTs are selected on the basis of their love for children, patience, and understanding. A graduation with a degree or diploma in Early Education like NTT, Montessori Training or DECE/ ECCE is required.

The Recruitment Process undergoes many steps:

  • The resumes are sourced from different job portal and social networking sites etc and are studied carefully. The candidates who have minimum qualifications, i.e. Graduate and B.Ed. for PRT and TGT and Post Graduate with B.Ed. for PGT with experience are considered. Teachers who are Graduates and have a Diploma in Nursery Teachers’ Training or Montessori Training or D.Ed. are considered for PPRT.
  • The original documents are checked and verified, and their communication skills to are checked. Then the applicants go through a number of proprietary screening steps.
  • A telephonic interview, followed by a Skype or Whatsapp video interview and lastly a face-to-face interview with the school authorities is lined up.
  • Finally, the shortlisted candidates are then offered the job by the school.
