The aim of education is to bring desirable changes in the behavior of the learner. It helps in the all round development of a child’s personality and the inclusion of healthy attitudes and good values. Since education changes according to the changing needs of the society, the aims of education also varies from time to time in the same society. The aims and objectives are not uniform for all stages of education. There are differences in aims and objectives of primary, secondary and higher education due to the variance of age and maturity experiences, physical, the mental and emotional growth of the child. In our country, education has been a state subject but now it has been put on the concurrent list i.e. shared by the central government. This has been done with a view to achieving the target of free and compulsory primary education. Because it is clearly directed in Article 45 of the Indian constitution, the provision of Universal, Free and Compulsory Education becomes the joint responsibility of centre and the state.
Primary education is the stage where education touches at every point, Thus, it has to do more with national ideology and character than any other single activity. The objectives of primary education should be visualized against the background of its ultimate ends and purpose.
The primary stage is a very crucial stage in the life of the child. So, The objectives of primary education are different from those in the middle stage of education. At the primary level the child’s curiosity, creativity and activity, in general, should not be restricted by a rigid and unattractive method of teaching and learning.
Land and Infrastructure
Select a land for your school which is at least 4000 sq.ft.- 6000 sq.ft. The land may be owned or may be leased with a rental agreement for 30 years. Requisite Classrooms, Activity rooms, Indoor playrooms, Administration rooms, Audiovisual room, and Outdoor play area form the infrastructure. The rooms must be bright and airy. Colourful walls, suitable furniture, pictures, toys and teaching aids too are required. Safety measures must be carefully installed in and out of the building.
The Trust or Society
It is advised that a trust or society of like-minded individuals should be formed, though the school can be opened by a single owner too. The trust should be registered under the Indian Trusts Act (1882) or the society under Societies Recognition act (1860), to prove the non-profit motive of your society. This will be required if the school needs to be upgraded and affiliated to any Board.
To open a primary school anywhere in India will cost, other than the cost of land and infrastructure, Rs. 50 lacs to Rs. 80 lacs. Plan your budget distribution, furniture, purchase of toys, play items, computers, audiovisual equipment, advertisement, printing expenses, etc.
Selection of Teachers or Care Givers
Ideally, the ratio of students and teachers should be 20:1. The teachers must be graduates with a Diploma in Nursery Teacher’s Training. Teachers must be selected for a pleasing personality, zealous, fluency in Language, love for children, positive attitude, talent, patience, and energetic.

We want open a Sr. Secondary School in Alwar District in Rajasthan.
Dear Dinender Kumar
To start with any school, anywhere in our country we have to start with the school at Jr. level initially. Suggest you to start with primary school or maximum upto 6th standard in the first academic session and then go upgradation year on year basis.
We can help you in doing so, as we have done a project in Sardarshahar with a name MAHARANA PRATAP SCHOOL.

Dear Manisha Khadke
To start any school, which you wish to get affiliated to CBSE must fulfill the board norms in terms of land requirement. 10000 sq ft of land will not suffice.
